Kite Honduras is a small, dedicated kiteboard/kitesurf instruction center. Located in the warm caribbean waters on the Island of Roatan, Honduras - Central America. We offer beginner to advanced lessons, rentals and kite repair as well as custom kiteboard holiday packages conducted by IKO certified instructors.

Kiteboard Lessons

Kiteboarding is a fun and exciting sport, however, it can be dangerous if a solid understanding of the safety features and basics of kiteing are not well understood. Lessons are highly advised to learn these concepts and to speed the learning process. At Kite Honduras we use the IKO methods of instuction to create safe and independent riders.

Roatan Honduras

Roatan, one of the Bay Islands of Honduras is located in the warm carribean waters of Central America. We are easily accessable from the mainland of Honduras via a short plane or a ferry ride from La Ceiba as well as by direct flights from the United States via Houston, Atlanta and Miami.

STATE OF THE ART EQUIPMENT

At Kite Honduras we pride ourselves in instructing with state of the art equipment. We are a Best Kiteboarding School and use the Best Waroo kites, which feature the latest safety systems, depowerability and relaunch capabilties.

The new flat kites hit the market recently and offer never before seen depowerabilty. This means that by letting go of the bar the rider can avoid being thrown, around by the kite
